The fitness sport with the walking-poles is no longer just a trend. Around five million people in Germany are true fans, and participate regularly in this unique sport in the great outdoors.

The “Siebentischwald” (forest) between Lech and Wertach, is one of the most popular Nordic Walking areas in the region. Start your tour at the parking area of the Sport Facility in the south. From the "Ilsungstrasse”, on a beautiful route with even paths, you will pass by trickling brooks and streams. Choose from either a 5 or 8 km route.

Tie your laces and head for the beautiful "Kuhsee” (lake); fitness with wonderful views. Parking is available at the “Augsburg Hochzoll” - in the northern and southern parking zones.

In the middle of Augsburg, you can enjoy walking in the landscape conservation area: “Wittelsbacher Park”. Here you will discover old tree populations, a Japanese garden, a small lake and a cosy gazebo. The paths are either made of gravel or asphalt – the route is flat and partially lit. If you walk around the edge of the park you will cover approximately 2 km.
