Dozens of individual units can be released modular-like from the museum object and their interiors are then revealed as well stocked bookshelves, sliding drawers and display cabinets for photos and personal items of Erich Kästner.

For those who want to see the legendary weapons of the novel heroes Winnetou and Old Shatterhand the Silver Gun, the Bear Killer and Henrystutzen in real life will find these in the Karl-May-Museum.
