A children city with flair.
Mannheim has long since made children a priority. The city promotes gifted children and leads them into art and culture. Students from the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region meet here recently for science nature experience days. Also, the Mannheim Clinic holds the first children's medical university. The Steigenberger Mannheimer Hof is in the middle of the children friendly city and is an ideal starting point for an exciting family excursion programme.
A maximum of 2 children up to 16 years of age can stay overnight free of charge in their parent's room. Children up to 16 years of age receive a 50% discount for reservations in double rooms (max. 2 children per room).
Luisenpark
The Luisenpark in Mannheim is more that just a beautifully configured park with a stock of old trees and blooming flowers from various places. It is also a local re-creation area. Set your own priorities on your visit to the park. What about a visit to the water playground that animates younger guests with its waterfall and water loop. A further highlight: The rain machine that produces real rain. Those who are shy of water will find diversity at further playgrounds like for e.g. the castle playground or the playground at the telecommunication tower.
Holiday Park
Feel like having fun – under this motto, the Holiday Park in Palatinate invites you for a fun packed day. You can experience lots of action and fascination in the 400,000 m2 large amusement park. The main attractions are the thrill rides and foremost the Mega-Coaster Expedition GeForce, here, roller coaster riders really get all the action they want. The park also has a lot of other fascinating attractions to delight big and small.
