The fitness sport with the walking-poles is no longer just a trend. Around five million people in Germany are true fans, and participate regularly in this unique sport in the great outdoors. For those that would like to learn how to train correctly or more efficiently with the walking-poles, the Steigenberger Mannheimer Hof has contacts to experienced trainers who will be willing to help you.

In the Nordic Walking Park in the “Käfertaler Wald” (forest), north of the suburbs “Vogelstang” and “Gartenstadt”, you will walk on historical forest tracks where traditional hunters once hunted.
