The “Ahr Thermen” is one of the most beautiful thermal and bathing complexes in Germany and is within comfortable reach in a bathrobe via a tunnel from the art nouveau thermal bath house and the wellness centre “Sinfonie der Sinne” or “Symphony of Senses” belonging to the hotel. Here you can expect aromatherapy and massages hay packs and Kneipp techniques, in short, everything you need to be spoilt from head to toe. The “La Fontaine” beauty farm rounds off the wellness services with diverse beauty and anti-aging programs.

New: The Samdosha-Ayurveda Health-Department in the Ahr-Resort offers a variety of spa-,cure- and wellness treatments like Yoga lessons for individuals or groups, Ayurveda treatments, and cure treatments with Ayurveda and therapeutic Iyengar-Yoga.

Health Center

The Steigenberger Kursanatorium is national admitted and is one of the leading private clinics in Germany.Here are accomplished Naturopathy and School Medical Therapies under the expert guidance of Dr. med Heinz J. Krönke. The exquisite team of doctors covers the whole range for internal diseases specialized in cardiology, gastroenterology, diabetology and nutritive problems. In co-operation with the health centre “Ahr-Resort” we could also offer physical and balneology therapies.

The equipment was selected according to the most modern medical knowledge: X-ray, endoscopy, ECG in resting, exercise and 24 hours, ultrasonography of the thyroid and stomach organs, echocardiography, Doppler-sonography for the blood circulation, functioning tests of the lungs and modern laboratory.

Thanks to the equipment and experienced staff the Steigenberger Kursanatorium is able to diagnose and treat diseases of the heart, lungs, brain, blood circulation, skeleton and metabolism. Special attention is paid to diabetes mellitus and consecutive symptoms of diabetes.

There is a 24 hours nurse-service and the doctor is on call daily.
