A capacity from 10 to 500 people: with a large ballroom and 15 salons, events of almost any size can be catered for. The air-conditioned salons, most with daylight, are partially inter-connecting and the dividable ballroom has its own central control room. The technical facilities in all rooms, meet the requirements of modern communication and conference standards.

A flexible conferencing concept meets a dliberate choice of materials.

Climate protection stands right at the top of the agenda at the new Convention Center. Each of the 15 conference rooms, which accommodate up to 300 people, has been refurbished with high regard to ecological factors and in line with sustainability. The ultramodern design combines ergonomic comfort with high-quality, green materials.

Sustainable materials

From the woollen carpets to the wooden chairs, we have exclusively used natural materials and renewable wood to decorate the interiors. This choice of materials fully complies with the basic philosophy of our new Convention Center and helps preserve natural resources. Our air conditioning system has also been fully renovated to ensure that it is as energy-efficient as possible. Enjoy this eco-conscious and comfortable environment.

The latest multimedia technology meets IT Concierge service.

Our fully integrated IT and multimedia equipment allows a full range of technological possibilities. You can, for example, use multi-source projection for your presentation; meanwhile, complimentary broadband Internet access (LAN/WLAN) is provided throughout the hotel. State-of-the-art technology ensures trouble-free communication and effective presentations at every conference.

IT Concierge service

Our IT concierge service guarantees professional supervision and is available around the clock. It doesn’t matter whether the video projector is striking or whether you want to set up a network of 100 computers – our IT concierge will find the ideal solution to the problem. Alongside complete professional know-how, the concierge also has one eye on environmentally-friendly technology.

Luxurious living combined with environmental responsibility – exclusively in our Executive Club. Enjoy all the amenities the Club has to offer and we will offset the carbon emissions for your stay. Our climate capable partner “green miles” invests the offset in climate protection projects in India and Brazil. Living with a green conscience! The executive rooms offer W-LAN, air-condition, shoe shine service, press service, free newspaper, bath and WC, upgraded bathroom amenities, bathrobe, safe, voicemail telephone, minibar, Sky Pay-TV and entrance to the executive lounge with breakfast and snacks.

We take great care to ensure your pleasure and act in line with organic and ecological principles. When purchasing, we always favour produce that is certified organic and/or comes from organic farms, meaning that you can start your day with a fully certified-organic breakfast. Whenever possible, we buy ingredients from local producers. Even our conference breaks have been certified organic. We are not just concerned with your healthy diet, but also with our carbon footprint. We use local suppliers to reduce food miles and encourage low-emissions, environmentally-friendly production of our food and ingredients.

Our chef will treat you with gourmet culinary delicacies around the clock. Look forward to top-class cuisine, accompanied by special rarities from the wine cellar. From small, energy-lifting snacks to multi-course meals, we have the perfect food for every taste and appetite.

Success and sustainability.

In the Steigenberger Hotel Berlin’s new Convention Center, your conferences can be both technically professional and eco-conscious, with carbon-neutrality.

Together with our competent, environmentally-engaged partner, greenmiles, we can calculate the amount of CO2 emissions resulting from your event based on the data you supply, and then seek a way of reducing those levels. We use 100% renewable electricity for example, and can compensate for the unavoidable emissions with select greenmiles climate protection projects.

It doesn’t matter whether you choose to invest in a new hydro-electric plant in Brazil or to support wind power: CO2 compensation is secure with greenmiles.

Each of the CO2 reduction programmes supported by greenmiles are climate-protection projects in line with the Kyoto Protocol, registered with the United Nations and officially recognised by the German government. This means that they adhere to the strictest quality controls. The fulfilment of the contracted emissions reductions is monitored annually by TÜV Nord.
