Location & Arrival
The Steigenberger Hotel de Saxe is located directly on the Neumarkt, in the historical centre of Dresden, opposite the “Frauenkirche” (Church of our Lady) and is therefore the ideal starting point for numerous activities in the baroque "Elbflorenz“. How about a walk to the “Bruehlsche Terrasse” directly at the banks of the river Elbe? The Elbe valley is well worth a visit.
Whether its glorious embankment boardwalks, interesting museums and establishments, technical memorials or endearing details – Dresden has lots to discover.
Train
- taxi to the hotel or
- take the tram 3 or 7 to the station “Pirnaischer Platz”. Walk along the direction of the tram, cross “Wilsdruffer Straße” and turn half left to enter “Landhausstraße”. After ca. 250 m te Steigenberger Hotel appears on the left.

Car
Entering the city from East and North follow the hotel route B (red); from South and West follow hotel route A (blue).

Flight
- pick-up service with limousine (reservation via hotel)
- taxi to the hotel or
- take the city-train S2 from basement of the airport to Dresden main station. Go on like described in “Train”.
