Easter and the medieval spectacular on the castle „Leuchtenburg”
The annual 19th medieval spectacular with its religious procession will take place on the most impressive castle of the valley of the river sale on Good Friday.
Once again knights from several countries can be marvelled at fighting according to the rules of the swordplay or just at watching them arranging their everyday life. There is even more to it than that. The younger ones are offered exciting activities too. The brave ones amongst them are offered to learn how to use bow and arrow or they can ride on donkeys. The girls will prefer the possibility to let their hair be done in the style of a real princess.
A goof atmosphere will be surrounded and supported by tradesman, craftsman, historical painters and shoeing smiths. An exquisite programme will be performed on stage and moreover 1.000 coloured Easter eggs will be hidden all around the castle area to be discovered by the visitors.
The hotel Steigenberger Esplanade in Jena has created a special arrangement just fort he event to fill the older and the younger ones with enthusiasm.
