The Steigenberger Grandhotel Handelshof opened on April 14, 2011, right in Leipzig’s city centre.
Behind the splendid historical facade of the former city market place in Leipzig city centre, a new modern style Steigenberger Grandhotel welcomes its guests.
Dating from between 1908 and 1909, the building served as an exhibition centre and from 1998 to 2004 housed the Museum der bildenden Künste (Museum of Fine Arts).

Behind the splendid historical facade of the former city market place in Leipzig city centre, a new modern style Steigenberger Grandhotel is due to open. Dating from between 1908 and 1909, the building served as an exhibition centre and from 1998 to 2004 housed the Museum der bildenden Künste (Museum of Fine Arts).
