With its salty sea air and beautiful beaches, Zingst is an ideal place for dreaming and taking time to relax. The 20 km long and 2 km wide peninsula is at the end of the Fischland-Darss-Zingst string of islands. It is just the right size for exploring on foot, by bike or on horseback. Boat trips to the Hiddensee island or around the Bodden lagoon, or horse and carriage trips to the National Park are popular activities.
A must for all nature-lovers is the “Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft” National Park, which includes the largest resting area for cranes in Central Europe. The birds flock here in spring and late summer. A magnificent spectacle.
