Kids are welcome – not only does that apply to the offerings at your Steigenberger Hotel Gstaad-Saanen, but also in our kids club. You will have seldomly enjoyed a holiday with the whole family so much. While the parents enjoy themselves in the hotels own wellness area or on a sight seeing tour the kids are in their element.

Good that there is a kids club at the Steigenberger Hotel Gstaad-Saanen. Our professional childminders know exactly, what your children enjoy the most. Unfortunately it is usually not hiking. So why don't you go and challenge the mountains while your children go summer tobogganing on the Rellori or river rafting on the Saane or Simme. To top of the end of a holiday, the kids club conducts a scavenger hunt that leads the children through the secrets of the Steigenberger Hotel Gstaad-Saanen. Who knows perhaps someone's star chef career began with our scavenger hunt?

Wellness, relaxation and fun - for three generations over three floors.
Since June 2008 the guests have the opportunity to use the new renovated Wellness area which is spread over 3 floors and all in all 1,100 sqm.
In the lowest level of the Wellness area, the brand new Kids Wellness area can be found. The children have the option to discover their own world of Wellness. From sitting in their own mountain cottage, to enjoying the tree sauna in a secure temperature the children can do whatever they like in their own vicinity. Discover the cave with animated waterfalls and adventures water games or crest the climbing wall and discover the treasures in the wall. All these exciting activities are possible in the Kids World. On the other side the young adults have the probability to play the newest videogames at the Nintendo Wii in the mountain cottage.

Special "Kids all-inclusive": Full board with breakfast, lunch, dinner, all beverages, participation in the Kids Fun Programme.

Chocolate factory
Chocolate fans look out: you will get to know the art of chocolate making right up close in the most famous chocolate factory Callier in Broc. Discover the world of chocolate and allow yourself to be enchanted and allured by the innovative chocolate creations and unusual combinations that are full of inspiration and magic. You can take a look behind the scenes on a tour and get to know the history of the factory. Of course a tasting of the delicious chocolate sorts is included.

Up onto the mountain
Numerous sporting possibilities are at the doorstep of our hotel that entices children to be active. What about a ski course - or a mountain hike in summer. For the small and little ones there are well-built pram paths. The bigger children will find original and diverse family playgrounds in the valley or in the mountains, on which you will have a really great experience. We highly recommend: the Wispile-Trottinett run which is a kind of bike ride that races down the mountain at high speed.
