Recipe BBQ Sauce de Saxe


0,5l Coke
0,5l Orange juice
1 Orange
50 g GingerIngwer
500g Heinz Ketchup
50 ml Hickory liquid smoke
1 garlic clove

2 El beef broth
2 El honey
1 chili pepper
1 Prise Salt


Slice the orange, peel the ginger and slice as well. Preserve coke and orange juice and boil orange slices and ginger with the liquid.
Peel the garlic clove and slowly brown it, but do not let it burn.
Add the garlic and the remaining ingredients to the sauce and preserve until it has the right thickness.

Add chili according to taste and how your guests like, if needed reduce the amount of chili.
Strain the sauce through a strainer and serve once it has cooled down.
