From Zurich’s picturesque old town to the Uetliberg
A wealth of interesting sights and events of every kind make Zurich a popular destination for city breaks. The 60-meter-high twin towers of the 13th-century Grossmünster church just out over the Medieval backdrop of the historic city center. Nearby, the baroque Town Hall stands proudly in the river with its ornate black marble entrance. Crossing over the historic Münster Bridge will take you to the left bank of the Limmat and the Fraumünster Church with its world-famous stained-glass windows by Marc Chagall.
To the Uetliberg
A cable car takes you up to the 869-metre-high Uetliberg. From its lookout tower you can enjoy a magnificent view of Lake Zurich. On the north shore of the lake nestles the Hotel Steigenberger Bellerive au Lac. From there, it takes just a few minutes by tram to get to the old town.
